Jacque's Story

The biggest venture I've made since last reunion was to move to Temple, Texas. Yessireee, I moved away from Big D to enjoy a bit slower paced lifestyle. My job here is working for the Temple Daily Telegram in retail advertising sales. This is such a good fit for me as I enjoy getting out and about, meeting people, and keeping up with the local gossip. The Chamber of Commerce has also been a second interest I've taken on working as a Red Carpet Ambassador...Expand for more
, assisting with Grand Openings and Ground Breakings. Ok...there's more! I volunteer with the Salvation Army on some projects. Hallie, my Shih-Tzu, is enjoying life in Temple too. We drive about 4 miles to Lake Belton where we enjoy playing and watching sunsets. She also likes riding in the buggies at PetsMart, Petco, Lowe's, and Home Depot. On occasion we go to the senior centers to visit with the elderly. Hallie enjoys the attention!...and so do I ;)

So glad I was able to stay awake long enough to welcome the new POTUS. What a roller coaster ride! Now on to a new ride for a better America.
I love my brother and am thankful for his service through the years. Like a big brother, he has always taken care of me. 💕

Had a mishap while in Austin riding a bike on the river trail. Impaled my left leg on a rought-iron fence. Had to have 15-20 stitches. I didn't turn bike over. Hallie remained in the front basket. Just had stitches removed
